Navigation Day 2

It was day 2 on the winter navigation course at Plas y Brenin today. We considered the weather forecast and Colin and Carl discussed what they would like to get out of the day so we decided that The Moelwynion would be a good choice. We went up Cnicht from Gelli Iago and then navigated over to Llynnau'r Cwn and down to the road via Llyn Llagi. If you'd like to see more photos of the course please follow this link.

In house assessments and a special guest!

I was over in Shropshire over the last few days conducting some assessments on a variety of rope activities such as high ropes courses, abseiling and climbing. During today's assessments we were visited by a very special guest and a hero of mine. "Tell 'em about the honey mummy" it was no other than the Honey Monster! The HM was on site during a photo shoot and was trying out various activities. I also had the pleasure of assessing a distant relative of Sir George Everest today and I'm glad to say he passed his abseiling with flying colours, as did everyone else. 😊✔
