Cold and windy on the bike today.

Assessments

I've carrying out a lot of assessments recently on ropes courses, climbing walls and abseil towers for various organisations and schools. Here are a selection of photo's and happy faces.

Dry and Sunny

With the weather remaining sunny and cold it had to be a quick trip up Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon this morning. The snow was bullet hard but I managed the trip without having to resort to crampons. Stunning weather and my last chance to get out on the hills of Snowdonia until next week. I tracked the journey on Endomondo so click here for more info and a map showing my route.

Just returned from a trip down south to carry out some in house assessments for an activity centre near Weymouth for a few days. It was a wonderful day on the hill today with calm wind and sunny conditions. Under foot condition up to 700m was fine and dry with the odd patch of frozen ground in the shade but nothing to worry about. The view over to Snowdon was stunning with a lot of snow still on the tops.  Mynydd Mawr and the Nantlle Ridge  Snowdon Damage to the bridge and path after the floods in November. Epic!

Sorry I haven't been keeping my Blog up to date recently but I've been really busy with loads of assessing on climbing walls and ropes courses all over the UK and inspecting outdoor centres on behalf of the Adventure Activities Licensing Service. As a consequence of being away from home and having patchy internet coverage its been difficult to keep up with news and trips.
